Nearly 3,000 acres in size and offering more than 11 miles of trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding, Cave Creek Regional Park has elevation changes of over 1,000 feet. It is well-known for its scenic desert views, and there is a 38-spot campground as well as a group camping area for overnight visitors. It sits about 31 miles north of Scottsdale, west of the town of Cave Creek.
